Who We Are

Kerry Disability Network is a vibrant and collaborative organization dedicated to empowering disabled people across County Kerry. We act as a collective voice, working to promote equality, inclusion, and access in all aspects of life. Driven by the lived experiences of our members, we provide a platform for connection, support, information sharing, and advocacy. We believe in a Kerry where barriers are dismantled, opportunities are equitable, and the diverse contributions of disabled people are valued and celebrated. We work tirelessly with individuals, families, service providers, and the wider community to build a more inclusive and accessible County Kerry for everyone.

Our Programs & Services

At Kerry Disability Network, we are committed to providing a range of programs and services designed to empower disabled people across County Kerry, promote our rights, and foster an inclusive community. Our initiatives are driven by the needs and experiences of our members and aim to create positive change throughout the county.

County-Wide Peer Support Network: We facilitate connections and support among disabled people across Kerry through various networks and forums, providing a space for shared experiences and mutual encouragement.
Advocacy and Information Service: We offer information, advice, and advocacy support to individuals with disabilities in Kerry, helping them understand their rights and access appropriate services. We also engage in systemic advocacy on county-wide issues.
Accessibility Awareness Initiatives: We work to raise awareness about accessibility issues across Kerry, collaborating with businesses, organizations, and local authorities to promote more inclusive environments.
